I don't know who Scott Nations is, but even if this quarter has negative GDP, we will not be considered to be in a recession until late summer, which will not be recognized by the government statisticians until the fall.
Where's the negative GDP? Where's the high unemployment? The stock market is not the greater economy as a whole. The market is abstracted from the real economy and only based off how people "think" the real economy is going.
