Fact of the matter is, how rich or successful you are still is a matter of government policy, where you are born, the kind of people you meet and befriend, and how lucky you are not to die early from a sudden car accident just before you are about to get laid for the first time with a 8/10 qt 3.14..
Even if wealth is equally distributed, theres nothing to stop a good portion of overly ambitious people wanting more out of life than just "honest service to muhh community".
