What do you guys think of a Computer information systems degree then followed by a MIS degree?
Is this pretty much the track to a manager in a IT department?
I'm average with computers and have little programming experience but im willing to try hard and learn
Is this a good degree route? Its either this or finance or accounting.
I was told a CIS degree has better pay prospects and may be a little more exciting than accounting or finance.
Any help is appreciated

Business admin + 3yr IT management work study + 3yr client facing retail hell, then get a job as a management or management assistant after graduating. Following that you can work on a management degree.

Not really. Most managers in MI are very business oriented.

What I would say OP, is don't go to a business for your job, go to a consultancy that deals in the likes of ERP, EPM, or MI SaaS. That's where the money and good experience is.

Also fuck working in one company for more than 4 months
