Is Finance's job safe from robots? I mean, in a near future only robots would have the whole job in finance industry; and humans would be only limited to watch and wait for stocks?

who is gonna sell the stocks?

"Finance" is pretty vague.
Even accounting falls under finance, but accounting will BTFO by automation.

Finance in general is pretty safe since this is the last place where people want to make compromises. Of course some people will advertise going full roboting even on portfolio management (http://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/110514/how-financial-advisors-can-adjust-roboadvisors.asp) but they will turn out not to be very good, since they can only perform well when people know what they want but most people don't know how to asses the actual risks they are facing and need to be steered by real humans.

no. everything involving finance is VERY heavily threatened by automation.

- think how much faster computers can peform complex calculations fetching data from various sources
- think how much more logical and non-emotional computers can make critical decisions
- no need for outer-body components or robot-parts to perform actual actions (all digital)

That's a good point. Everything can't be done by automation.
>>1042332
Yes, I'd though that but >>1042323 has a point. Otherwise, how many years do you estimate that automation could replace the human factor in finance?
>>
>>1042154
Its a tool to increase human potential like bionics but not replace humans because robots don't give a shit about money. Someone is going to control them in the end. A lot of decision making might be removed.

You'll have C-3P0 saying "Sir, I must tell you that is a poor decision, please don't buy at this time." and you can either agree or say Don't Tell Me The Odds!

There are already automated brokers that offer much the same service, just at 1/4 the price. Its becoming very popular for people with little money (<100k in their 401k for example)
>>
>>1042399
This and auto brokers. You guys are fuuucked.
>>
Most short term trading is all done automatically, only cucks think they are faster than a robot.

Long term predictions still are made by humans though.

Well, at least.

Finance- men in suits getting paid = deprecated, unwanted, unneeded, unhelpful. Suggest euthanasia.

Finance- non deflationary trustless blockchain systems savings amd property safeguarded by the immutable laws of mathematics. Suggestion: buy ethereum.

You dumbass. All blockchain does is protect against fraud and credit and identity theft. It has nothing to do with quantitative evaluations on premiums or anything else you could imagine,
