Title says it all.

Get a mutual fund or other diversified stock portfolio package. Single stocks are a losing proposition, especially if you're a newbie.

At the New York Stock Exchange silly.

This.

Casually trading stocks as a hobby is now just a meme. Gone are the days where a little know-how and some smarts could get you far in the market. You won't be able to outperform the sophisticated software and bots that the pros use.

Plus the time and effort it would take for you to know enough now about a sector to be able to net a profit from investing would be better spent expanding your skill set towards your career. In terms of $/hr you'd make way more money doing that. Just put your savings in a mutual fund and let the pros worry bout it.

Seriously? You can just a bot to do it? Why doesn't everyone do that?

Bot requires human input. They auto buy and sell at certian thresholds.

Goddamn it, index funds and index futures people.
Mutual funds are from the 70s and are ultra high fee monstrosities.

Learn the tools an the market first. Don't just stick it in a money managers mailbox.

Do you think its smart to pay people to lose your money???
