Hey /biz/ let's share your strangest business ideas you ever had, maybe it can be useful for some. I will tell mine, but I hardly think it's plausible.

So we had a project at college that we needed to come up with a so called "Student enterprise", and make a business plan draft for it.
One of my friends in my group came up with a nice, socially responsible firm:
Let's make instant soups that are nutritious, and in the meantime let's contribute to our local societies.
The idea would be that one of the ingredients would have been produced from the local problematic minorities. These individuals would have been collected from the streets, or from their known locations by our "co-workers" and processed into nutritious instant soup powder.
So this way we would have been able to contribute in a high extent to local societies.

For obvious reasons this idea was discarded and we went with a cider manufacturer that would use supply from local farmlands, but that was far less unique to say the least.

So, what was your strangest business idea?

>Create some shitty pair of sunglasses.
>Give pairs out to a few Stacies and Chads on a college campus.
>Offer them kickbacks of one or two percent per sale if they can sell any.
>Rake in profits because college students are retarded.

It's not really strange, it's just a way of marketing

> nutritious instant soups

I love this idea, but the freeze frying process destroys any nutrition the meal might have.

I always add vegetables to my noodles.

sure, vegetables should be added, also bought from local farmers
>>
> freeze-dried minorities processed into soup

Soylent Green.

I forgot to add that the name would have been Soup Soup, so we could use a slightly modified SS logo for the compang

Import German baked goods to India. Middle class is booming and buying/trying different stuff like crazy.

Get some Indian chicks from villages. Beautify them with western make up and take them to Yuropoor countries and make quality porn and sell that to Indians.

And the guys would be ripped white and black guys, small dicks make porn look bad even for Indian.

The other day I was thinking about selling plastic lids that can be attached to soda cans so you can transport them/save them for later. Stupid Af but I think people would dig it.

(No stealing btw plz)

Also I think there's money facilitating and promoting basement concerts. Like establishing a network of homes suitable to host small concerts, then offering local bands a dirt cheap place to play live shows. I've got some decent experience with acoustics and audio recording/playback, so I could rent out amps and mics and speakers for a fee, as well as charge a fee for guidance in proper placement and set-up, as well as a decent following on various social media sites, so it's something I could possibly see working. I'd have to look into legalities though, and I wouldn't be surprised if I made no money.

Just try and manufacture a plastic piece that's 2-3cm long and just as wide as the soda cans opening. Then make 2 sections with a barb all the way around and make it thicker in the top than the bottom. That way it won't go all the way down and it'll be air-tightened and super easy to lift off if necessary force is used.

These have existed for years in Canada. They're called pop-tops.

AS a guy who watches a shit ton of Shark TAnk (all eps), I can tell you that idea is already out there.

I'll see if I can find the specific episode.

I was going to save this as my last resort if my other five business ideas failed, but I'm feeling nice and I know none of you have the ability to even get a basic prototype started. So here, have a look at this.

Simply ask a college kid to write a code that responds to simple voice commands

>I'm just cooking
>False Alarm
>Shut the fuck up

Put it in different languages, mass produce under a brand/patent.

Wholla...

Have fun

Ah dammit, I guess I should've googled first.

I guess it's a good thing I had that fall back

I could get behind this idea
>>

I had this idea the other day on another board that I will not name, but should be more than obvious after you hear the idea.

Pay for a swarm of Syrian refugees to be relocated to rural communities in Nunavut. Film the bloodbath that ensues between the refugees and the natives over limited resources. Sell the footage to American entertainment companies; Americans would eat that shit up.

Bonus points for anyone who can (a) guess the board of origin and (b) come up with a title for the show (must include at least one pun).

fucking amazing bike lock with gps tracker

But now it feels like a scam since it's been more than two years and the developers are still asking for money.

I now have my eye on Grasp bike lock, simple finger print lock, no need paying for gps services.
BUT THE FUNDING JUST GOT CANCELED
