The only good thing about Litecoins is they make the people who issue Litecoins some money. Otherwise there is no reasonable justification for the Shytecoin.

On coinwarz you can see current profitability of each coin if you sell directly. This does not include initial investments in equipment.
If your serious about mining, visit litecoin irc or forum to read guides or ask for help.
Id say mining is only interesting if you have access to free or very cheap electricity.
