So I'm thinking about reproducing SNES game carts, specifically Earthbound and Chrono Trigger since those are pretty popular games.

The only thing is, I don't know how long it'll take this little business venture of mine to become profitable since the only day I can sell them is on a Sunday at the flea market.

The Eprom programmer is about $50
The lot for 28 donor carts I need is about $70
The replacement parts are about $20

So I'd be investing $140 to start me off.

Realistically, how long will it take me to make a profit and enough to reinvest in making more carts if I sell them at $40 and how many will I need to sell each Sunday?

Skipping the cost accounting, I'd suggest you reconsider your market of people that are interested and able to play these games, yet do not have access to the internet where you can download emulators and play them for free.
>>
Your market is basically enthusiasts. Most people already bought the cartridges somewhere else (either presently or when they came out) AND/OR have roms.
>>
Enthusiasts are really big on having the original carts.

Don't bother OP you'll just be wasting your time.
