The true meme is that Investment Bankers get fucked over, when in reality they have excessive opportunities to get in to millions a year.
My dad was an Investment banker, quite literally underwriting companies, singing JV's etc.
Started out making the equivalent of 150k a year working alot. Now he works just over the average earning 1.32 million a year (including bonuses)
