Crowdsourcing sites like mTurk - are they worth it? How much of it is a scam to steal your money/identity/organs/implant malware into its users? Been thinking of trying one of these for some pocket cash, but Amazon doesn't allow non-USfags and every other site I've seen looks dubious at least.

Don't do it. It is a total waste of time and energy. You make literal pennies. You can beg on the street and make more money in an hour than you would in a week using one of these shitty ass sites.
If you know what you're doing you can make $1k a month+, but that requires having a lot of decent qualifications on the site, and ranking your way up. You won't make that much before you start your interview. I started 10 days ago and made $38 bucks just by doing it a couple hours a day. EZ
