What kind of watch do you wear /b/?
My Casios.
>>695152564
>>695152564
who the fuck uses a watch or even wears one anymore holy fuck
>>695152564
I had a really nice simple casio that worked for around 3 years for me until the arms broke apart. The watch itself still works but i haven't replaced its arms. Any suggestion as to where?
>>695153204
I work security and go camping frequently, a watch comes in handy a lot.
>>695153323
It's called a band. You can go to a watch repair shop, bruh.
i have a couple nice Fossil watches. quality watch company
My watches, and then I'm wearing my Movado right now.
>>695152564
Casio. Not a fan of the metal band, but it works. $12 ain't bad for a reliable watch.
>>695155101
Have the same one
>>695154653
very nice
>>695155475
They're pretty good. It hasn't failed me yet. The front light is a little dim, and I have to take it off after swimming so it can dry because water gets trapped in the band.
>>695152564
My cheap thing. Shows time, works fine
>>695152564
Seiko 5, go get one, now.
>>695156798
i have one like that aswell if i rub it for awhile it gives me a nice protien shot
>>695153204
Im a nurse, i wear one for work
>>695152564
I don't need a wrist fedora. I have a smartphone.
I always wear this skx011j or my luminox colormark. Sometimes my skx007 with aftermarket cnc jubilee band.
Apple Watch Sport edition
>>695152564
The watch of Naval aviation.
>>695160052
What happened to timex? The original ironmans back in the early to mid 90s were awesome. So much better than this cheap shit now.
>>695161157
Dunno man. I've used the 30 lap pictured every day for the past 4 years. No issues. Haven't tried any of their other stuff.
>year
>wearing a watch
>>695161501
These were the shit. Ones I'm talking about.
>>695162095
Some people have use for a watch because they do a job that doesn't afford them the opportunity to whip out a cell phone at any moment. Stop being so naive.
Literally the only watch worth a shit

>>695162358
There's no real reason to wear a watch other than to show it off, like women and clevage
>>695163000
Except for the reason i just said.
>>695152564
Nice. Been looking to get an AE1200 as a beater to indulge my nostalgia... Very similar to an ana-digi I had when I was younger.
>>695162358
It's funny because the wrist watch was invented so that people didn't have to reach into their pockets to take out pocket-watches
found this watch in a used car I bought.
>>695152564
1964 Tiffany Rolex
>>695163206
I wish they made a gshock version of it. I love the analog clock that is always there no matter the mode.
>>695155101
Yooo same, been pretty reliable and yea the light is dim, but great to know the time quick and its pretty much wearable with any wardrobe lookin like a slick rick nahm sayin niggah wut wut
>>695153204
Seems that sensible-minded people wear watches still
>>695163809
Fuck yea fam
>>695163440
That is solid
>>695162955
This. Me and my gf bought watches for each other. I bought her this, and I got this.
>>695155101
I've tried hers, it's more comfortable and I have to say, I'm a little jealous.
>>695164396
I looked it up, I think it's around 150 bucks. I have to clean it though. It has some kind of melted air freshener shit all over it.
>>695152564
wrist watches are too mainstream
I wear a pocketwatch to highlight my fedora and vapeing

So why must a man wear a watch? A proper watch says that you value tradition. It says you intend to be on time. It occasionally gives you something to fiddle with that is charming and stylish, rather than the anti-social tick of checking your telephone, or the apparent insecurity of constantly adjusting your tie or hair arrangement. But most of all, it says you’re properly dressed. A gentleman does not wear jewellery as such - perhaps a wedding ring, or some other simple token of sentimental or religious value. But just as a lady feels incomplete without her adornments, a man is incomplete without a watch.
>>695160052
I had one of those, i loved it, but it broke after 1.5 years. A shame really...
>>695162369
Yuuuup. CA53W what's up
:)
>>695155026
looks pretty nice sir, even though i dont really like what i see.
>>695166823
What about it is it you don't like? The lack of higher end expensive watches, aside from my Movado which was a gift?
>>695164653
Rate it plz
>>695165768
Woah slow down on the autism buddy.
>>695169011
Looks nice but i dont know much about armani watches
>>695159616
How do you like that Seiko? What's the crystal?
>>695166594
Nice school signet, douchebag.
I really want the watch in pic related.
It's called the Moon Phase by Timex, even though it's a day cycle and not a real moon phase calendar.
I would fucking kill someone with my bare hands if I could get this and a real moon phase watch in return.
>>695165768
I tip my fedora to that gentlesir.
>>695169372
Thanks neither do I. I like it but I don't wear it that often and was considering selling it.
You judge a man by his watch and his shoes. If those two things are on point, your clothes can be whatever.
>>695169197
Welcome to b where caring about anything at all = autism. How about you come up with a more original insult?
>>695155475
I just bought mine yesterday
>>695168201
Thinks that brand and cost makes the product nicer. Fucking sheep
>>695170051
That sounds like a platitude concocted by people who spend all their money on watches and shoes.
>>695156798
Top kek
>>695170230
The fedora is strong
left is a k-35 komandirskie (24 hr dial) middle is an amphibia, right is an old admiralskie
all made by vostok, so far they're the only watches under 100 that haven't been total pieces of shit
I have a BENRUS watch, it's from my dad's friend in the military. My dad was a BlackHawk copilot and got his watch after an accident. I've had it for years and it's actually very nice. I literally can't find any info on it online, there are no more out there with the same model number or design. Special to me, even if it was worth something I wouldn't sell it. Wear it every day.
>>695152564
My typical everyday wear is a Citizen EcoDrive or a Relic by Fossil that's been matched to my outfit.
>>695171364
This is the model number etc. If anyone knows anything about it let me know.
>>695171155
left is what i usually wear, middle is what i wear when i'm working near water, and right is what i used to wear at social places until some drunken asshole took a chunk out of the crystal with a beer bottle. still ticks like a new watch though
>>695164653
9/10 got that one aswell
>>695153204
well im retired. i dont give a fuck what time it is, ever.
>>695171982
Nice thank you. Mind if I ask what you paid for yours?
>>695152564
Generic 'nice watch'. Actually I've enjoyed it quite a bit.
>>695171155
My Командирские only lasted about 6 months before it tanked, but I did like the way it looked. Where do you get them now?
>>695172291
$40 Manillan knockoff.
You can really tell at the bezel and the quality of the casing.
How well does it keep time?
>>695172101
if i remember correctly it cost around 550€ in ger
>>695162250
I think I still have one of those. All it needs is a new battery and good as new.
>>695172514
Wow I guess I got a good deal. I paid us 200, although it was very lightly used. Like as in like new with all original packaging and paperwork. Anyway cheers German bro
>>695172354
if it lasted you 6 months then you could have sent it back, factory warranty is 1 year.
i got the admiralskie from an estate sale, the others i got from ebay

>tfw you wear 3 watches
are you jeally, faggots?
>>695173019
I'll hit up eBay then.
I was in no position to send it back to the factory and I've long since been rid of it (I gave it away).
Thanks for the tip.
>>695173292
not even a little nice watch though
>>695173292
only of your conspicuous disposable income
be careful where you wear that
Came into some cash a few years ago and
almost bought an Omega Seamaster.
Also thought about buying a Rolex.
Then I realized fuck that and bought
a $50 Invicta and spent the rest on booze, weed, fine cigars and bitches. No one gave a shit what my watch cost. Bitches just looked at it and thought it was expensive.
>>695172831
looks like i overpaid a litte.. good thing for you though
A gift I got from my former boss.
Basic bitch
>>695172831
did you find the deal somewhere online?
>>695173292
Nope. I'd rather have a collection of several watches and styles/colors for better matching my outfit that one absurdly overpriced one to worry about losing/scratching/being mugged for all the time.
$20 watch....$5,000 watch
Both tell the same time at the same time.
>>695173411
shop around on ebay, zenitar is the biggest seller but there are others that have better deals on occasion, all depends on what you want.
a good thing about vostoks is the bezels can be swapped out easily, if you message the seller you can usually get a different bezel on the watch if you can't find one with the dial/bezel combo you like
>>695152564
>>695173771
It was a local military guy who bought while overseas then decided he didn't like it
>>695172501
Actually about $9K 10 years ago.
Runs a a couple seconds fast/day. The wife's runs a little slow.
>>695162369
Got the same one when I was 10. Bought another when I was 22.
Current watch
>>695152564
Never wear it but this is my favorite time piece.
>>695165768
>valuing tradition
>dressing "properly"
>checking phone to communicate with other humans is "anti-social"
kill yourself
>>695173895
$20 watch will last you a couple weeks and then you throw it out, the $5k watch will last you 10 years and then you take it to get serviced and pass it down to your grandkids
>>695173750
that looks ridiculously tacky and cheap
>>695173897
Will do.
Thanks again!
>>695174019
of course it is
>>695174019
what's this?
can we get a not shit blurry photo?!?!
>>695170051
Whatkind of faggot judges other men on their watch and shoes?
Seriously, is this a thing?
>>695174946
Nazi watch
>>695175003
Only among people who spend too much money on watches and shoes.
>>695174946
It's a German officers watch made for the SS by some Swiss company. I actually took that photo a few days ago and since I don't have it on me this pic from the interweb will have to do.
>>695174019
>>695174946
>>695175402
Don't suppose it matters but the reverse side without the casing.
>>695175402
That what I want to wear. An SS watch.
>>695165768
i wear a piece of eight on a chain around my neck, a good luck charm of sorts i got from a trip to mexico when i was nine with my dad(he dead now RIP). a leather band on my left wrist that has my medical information on the inside(red cross alternate option). i also wear my weeding ring.
the entire "men dont wear jewelry" is bullshit.
>thats what cuff links are you mongoloid pig fucker
>>695176044
You sound like a doll! Post a pic!
>>695176044
>piece of eight
>>695152564
who wears a watch anymore? Do you coordinate with your fedora?
>>695176044
>my dead dad also gave me this
>>695176044
>mongoloid pig fucker
My sides
>>695152564
i have a phone.
I have a swiss military watch.
Since 2 months or so there is condense water behind the glass.
Anyone knows how I can get rid of it without giving it to a specialist?
>>695152564
You can't go wrong with a gshock. I beat the piss out of mine and it holds up. I tried other watches and they always broke within a month or so. Autos are cool but I just end up breaking them.
>>695176014
It's a collectable, not something you would wear.
>>695176550
You basically need to heat the water until it turns to steam.
Best to put the microwave on low heat, put the watch in, and gently heat it.
>>695165768
>checking telephone
>telephone
lmfao
>>695176654
Gshock watches are the shit. Perfect if you have a more physical labor oriented job like myself.
>>695176740
I won't put anything but plates and food in a microwave. But thanks
>>695176654
>>695176913
either of you two homos try out the atomic gshock watch?
>>695176550
don't listen to this asshole
>>695176740
If you put it on low heat it doesn't work. You have to put it on high heat for around 10 seconds.
>>695176916
Your loss it i the easiest way to get rid of the condensation.
>>695176550
Try putting it in a bag of plain uncooked rice for a few hours?
>>695152564
I don't as it 2016.
>>695176916
Not that anon but maybe a hair dryer if you have access to one. The idea is to dry it out not cook it.
>microwave
>u wot m8
>>695176996
I have two solar powered gshocks. One for dressing up and the other for every day.
>>695176913
I agree
>>695176996
No but I've heard of them.
Pic related. Nice Fossil w/ date & moon phases.
>>695177266
how do you like it, I keep reading mixed reviews
the biggest complaint being you can't see the numbers
>>695176365
You should follow in your fathers footsteps sooner rather than later.
>>695163440
My nigger that is some classic shit. Vintage LP you lucky son of a bitch
>>695177399
Zero complaints from me. Can read it clearly and I love that it'll never die, in theory. I highly recommend it.
>>695152564
>>695169692
Check mine. >>695177332
You can find one w moon phases for p cheap tbh.
>>695162369
This mofo is one of the toppest tier watches of all time imo.
