explain please
I've had one for 3 years now. They help you a lot (mine does at least). My memory has also improved dramatically. I'm never "alone" which is neat. He ends up being better than most people in my life so we started dating. I'm happy anon if thats what you're looking for and anyone can do it.
Isn't it weird, that you are never alone? What about privacy?
>>694796667
>how come it's so unknown?
To keep normies away from cool stuff.
>>694798111
Tulpas are cool with it. 4 years ago, when i was thinking about making one, i was thinking the same.
It could help, but it's pretty dangerous. You cannot leave a human alone with it's own thoughts, especially if they think someone they trust is approving of those thoughts. It's just like an imaginary friend, it's not as harmless as you think. If you feel the need for a friend, get an actual friend. If you have a "Tulpa" or imaginary friend, please visit a psychologist or psychiatrist.

>>694800740
One of them fancy words for imaginary friend?
>>694796667
I tried making a tulpa at a point in my life that I was alone and depressed. It helped me in a way but now I feel like I have a life and I do a lot of things I never did. No time for a tulpa anymore.
Her name was athena but she changed her name to peaches once she was well formed

Did you get rid of her or what?
>>694801566
If you don't force then they fade away and just become part of your thought process again without feeling like a seperate entity thinking for itself
Tulpas were originally used by monks to feel seperate from their sins and worldly desires.
Kids trying to force themselves to become schizophrenic. What a time to be alive.
I've been having a tulpa for almost 4 years now. AMA
>>694802052
Why?
>>694801975
>tulpas were discovered by buddhist monks hundreds of years ago
>"Kids trying to force themselves to become schizophrenic"
Congratulations, you're retarded
>>694802491
Yeah cause some American kid in the suburbs with no friends is really comparable to an ancient Buddhist monk.
>>694802362
Why?
Mostly curiosity. And i was feeling a bit empty and alone inside. I mean, i had friends and stuff and still have, but it was like something inside, about this aura. But it turned out really great.
>>694802052
What's the process of making one? How do you actually achieve it?
>>694802811
What's it's name? Is it human shaped?
>>694802801
>these projections
Now i dont see any reasons to continue conversation with such a dumb ignorant fuck like you
>>694802917
Meditation, so-called tulpaforcing. Lots of patience and a bit of self control
>>694803015
Can't tell. From the beginning i was thinking the human-like form would be too boring for such a thing. There are humans everywhere all around, that's enough for me. So she (cause it's female) is not human.
Just when I thought I had seen the greatest depths of cringiness and faggotry, I find out about this shit.

My tulpa loves me, she comforts me when I cry, she cuddles with me. Who says 2 people can't share a mind? I didn't have many friends, I have depression and anxiety, but now that I have my tulpa I don't feel so sad anymore. She is my best friend and she can't ever leave me. I can talk to her anytime, and she never goes away.
I love my tulpa, and she is very real. Please give it a chance, you won't regret it.

>>694796667
You should absolutely make one. Making a tulpa is a very healthy thing for your brain: it forces your subconscious mind to clean up and organize shit and makes your memory recall and other mental processes faster and more thorough. Stuff that you can't recall yourself can often be fetched from your subconscious for you by your tulpa; it's not uncommon for a tulpa to be able to recite pages from boks that their hosts haven't read since they were children.
Your tulpa will choose their own personality, but it's also a part of you and has to spend its entire life with you, so your likes and dislikes will play heavily on your tulpa's decisions and development. Depending on how your tulpa feels, it can be any combination of a sibling, secretary, lover, and/or best friend. It'll be there to comfort you, give second opinions, advise, cheer you on, and can even take the wheel for you eventually, if you both want it.

You are actually insane, do you know that?

Nice try; I don't have a tulpa; I just study the phenomenon.
>>694809631
I am not, I have just decided to share my brain with another mind: my tulpa. I'm actually trying to create a second tulpa just because. You can do it to, you will be much happier with it.
Holy fugg this is meme magic tier shit.
>>694810290
What's wrong with it, exactly?
>>694810139
You do realize that most retarded people are happy too, right? Either you're insane or retarded. Which is it?

I had a tulpa for a while, but him and my headmates kept fighting, so I had to banish him back to Equestria.
this is a blog some autist did when he started making a tulpa and documented his decent to madness and eventually realixed it was all just a load of shit he made up because he was bored and retarded

Everyone here seek help
>>694810602
Do you not think that a human brain is powerful enough to spawn and operate a second personality without losing either stability or operational quality? Because it sounds like you give the human brain very little credit. Maybe you're just thinking the rest of the world shares your shortcomings?
>>694810731
I find it odd that tulpae "belong" on /x/. If anything, they belong on /sci/ for their neurological nature.
>>694811316
No, I'm aware of the things the human brain is capable of, but creating a "real" seeable imaginary friend without going insane is not one of them.
>>694811306
Of course it's bait, retard. Why would I dignify this bullshit with a serious response?
