It is true that it's pretty bare-bones right now. But Niantic does plan to add more features, like trading. That's said to be coming soon. So over time it'll flesh out.

Yeah, I Managed to get to level 10 and some decent chinpokomon but its just getting boring to me. Like op said (whose a fag) its just boring and my energy to go do this shit is fleeting fast. If They maybe did some kind of PvP on like a roster system that was geared towards your level and cp etc. Then id play a ton but I'm just over going around to beat gyms then it lagging out and not counting for anything except xp.
