Not this time. I quit before cataclysm and got sucked back in and lasted a few months before I hated it again. I came back halfway through MoP and it was a bit better than cata. I played it until WoD came out. After a few months, WoD was garbage and I quit and haven't played since. I haven't even been tempted. The game is ruined beyond repair.

Remember when raiding took time and effort through genuine skills and timing? When it took 40 people to actually utilize team work and not just slamming their face on keys?

Remember when you had to do long quest lines for nearly impossible drops to obtain items not everyone could get?

How about when pvp took timing, CC and skills instead of strafing left to right, waiting for someone to slip so you could face slam a couple Burst DMG buttons?

Remember whole servers raiding major cities or better yet, Barrens PvP?

I miss real team effort. I miss the grind to make gold and have appreciation from being able to purchase off the AH. Most importantly I miss feeling like I earned what I got and wasn't just handed things like Blizzard has been
doing.

This. I'd say the skill required depends on the game genre, usually the more micromanaging the more the skill you'll need. Strategy and RPG games require most skill (including RPG derivatives like mobas and mmorpgs), with shooters, racing and fighting games requiring the least. Not the guy you responded too but I played Ultima Online and EverQuest for a bunch of years on a hardcore raiding level before I got into World of Warcraft back when it was first released, and the game was completely different back then, and heavily focused on grouping up with other people to clear content. It's just not the same anymore and that is because the game has changed - Not because we grew up. Of course you still feel nostalgic about your first MMO though.
