Let's go back to before Moot asked us for donations and went to Mexico for vacation with our money. All the back to a time when newfag and memes were common terms.
I recently lost use of my windows Me hard drive so I've lost some real history. I will, however post the oldest pictures I have (from 2007).
I can post some old screen caps and saved threads too, to prove that /b/, while never being good, wasn't the trap/mental health/cuck/nigger/tumblr version it has become today.

Well a lot of us left after Mootxico, some went to 7chan or 420chan or hell, desuchan, some left when snacks got fired, Then Gamergate killed off the rest of us.
What I notice is that old fags come and go. I've spent a lot of time avoiding 4chan like the plague, but it always sucks you back in. Sometimes to check up on it, sometimes for nostalgia, but mostly it's like going back to a failing zoo. The animals are sickly, it isn't kept very well, and there's gay graffiti everywhere.

Well it was always shit, but now it's gay shit.
There was a lot more content and people used to seemingly have more fun. We used to go on raids on MMOs and internet games, we used to get into people's vents or team speaks and fuck with them, and unless you knew someone personally from 4chan, you had no idea where all the anonymous people were flooding in from. Now everyone knows about this place and we've become just as poisoned as reddit or funnyjunk
