Is Linux even worth learning how to use?
I'm practically new to coding and anything else for that matter.
What's Linux good for anyway? Like does it serve specific purpose? Because I want to write documents, make graphic and a little bit of gaming but I heard it's a bitch to run anything on Linux due to compatibility.

It's not hard to use at all. It offers privacy. Windows openly spies on users. GNU/Linux comes in many shapes and sizes. There's something for everyone. I recommend Ubuntu for beginners. It even has a software center so you're not installing everything from the command line. It sucks for gaming but it's good for everything else. I also like it because you can customize it easily. Pic related is what I started with when I installed this.

No coding skills required. Just check out online guides. You can dual boot with windows easily by installing the grub bootloader (this option is provided when you install ubuntu and most other distros). Also exe files can be run in wine which was what I was doing in the other thread.
