tryndamere is actually better for climbing because he can end the game by split pushing. garen is only mildly decent in laning phase and then cant splitpush and is trash in teamfights vs any decently good team. basically if you find success in garen for climbing eventually you will stop finding success.

Is Graves a good jungle AD to climb with still? If not, who besides Kindred would be good when the team needs someone that can carry with pure damage past early? I play a lot of Gragas and Shyvana and want to round that out

Is Thresh realistic to play at the top non-pro levels if you're really good with him? I like him a lot and feel like I can carry with him, but the Mikael/Censer buffs are pretty nuts. Also a lot of the top supports are Braum or poke him down.

graves is the best jungler in the game if you're really good but thats a rarity. thesh is really good at carrying for a support. kindred is good if you just farm and dont feed like a bitch early, better version of shyvana. gragas is broken too use him and hes easy

Why in the fuck do people consider Dota to be superior in terms of skill required? I know the meme must be perpetuated, but I played both extensively and that's not the case at all. League requires a ton of mechanical skill on plenty of characters, though some are point and click to a point. Dota on the other hand is a massive aoe shitfest of CC effects and lazily scaling damage abilities, which eliminates the teamfights participation of plenty of players, because it revolves around "who lands the death ball of cc and damage the fastest". Sure, it has more gimmicks on the map and thus requires some strategic thought on objectives and its flashy as fuck, but if you simply compare the highlights of pro players from both games, it's easy to conclude League has superior gameplay mechanics.

Funny thing I noticed is that one of Dota players favourite things to talk about is how bad LoL is in comparison to Dota, while most LoL players dont even think about Dota. To me it sounds that you guys are salty that Dota isn't as successful as League.

It's because there's a lot more depth and micromanagement to it, I also prefer it over LoL because characters don't follow the same mold and instead all of them have unique gimmicks and characteristics, the community is also much much better than LoL's (as long as you stay out of the trading/Esports scene).
