In my country we have rock fm and they play the same songs over and over again it gets boring. Smells like teen spirit is not played as much as I'd like and you won't hear any other nirvana song on it. They always play the best hits and unfortunately don't promote local talents as much as they should, people who listen to rock are really nice to those that sing well and ignore the bad ones, so making a name for yourself is not hard if you are good.
