If you want an honest answer from me,
I take memorable foreign words, names, those sorts of things, and I modify them in a random way (remove vowels, leet, every other letter, etc). I then combine a random number of them and conjoin them with a pattern that helps me remember. For example:

baka: b4k4
shirley temple: Swrl4Head
