Last, networking. I have social anxiety so this ones tough for me but I'm doing it anyway. Talk to people, ask who's looking for the kind of work you want to do, who needs an extra hand. If your plans are to move on and they say something along the lines of "well we need someone who will stay with the company" you retort with "well if you make it worth my while I will stay". Stuff like that makes you seem like you don't even want to be hired
