I'd recommend travelling being a part of your life or at least give it a go. I know Americans and Canadians don't travel outside their countries that much and it's hard to blame them since those countries are so colossal.
Is the cost of travelling so much that it'd seriously hinder your future?

At this stage of my life? Definitely. I come from a poor family and I just got away from that and became independent less than two years ago. I'm still getting on my feet.
Costs of living around here are pretty steep, too, that doesn't help.
Basically, getting furniture and clothes and being stable in case something happens to me are my top priority. I'm only just starting to invest in things purely for enrichment now.
