Yeah there was an islamic school near my old house, so pretty much all the islamic immigrants wanted into that suburb.
They were all like super afraid of causing a fuss so they were all mega-polite and just didn't interact with anyone. All families, no single people.

I usually cook my meat and then mix it with sauce while the sauce is warm, its hard for me to get a read on how warm the sauce is and when the meat will be cooked if I were to do your method.

Stove: medium. Cook time ~2 hours
• Crisco oil: enough to provide a light layer on the bottom of the pot
• Onion (cut in half): gently cut horizontal and diagonal lines (kinda like #), then chop three 2cm thick layers. Slice ‘em n’ dice ‘em.
• Garlic: 2 cloves. Squish and chop w/ knife. Make sure they’re small pieces: nobody wants to chew on garlic (unless in the presence of a vampire).
Add to the pot
Stir around and wait until the onions get a nice golden color and you can really smell the garlic
• Sausage (Johnson): unwrap and toss in the pot on top of the onions and garlic
Add to the pot
Stir so there is no pink found. Remove the fatty liquids with a spoon.
• Tomato Sauce (2-3 cans): release the kraken. beware; it spits
Add to the pot
Rinse the cans with a little bit of water to get every bit of tomato from the cans
• Garlic powder ½ tsp, oregano ¼ tsp, Basil leaves ¼ tsp (spices)
• Basil (fresh): group the leaves together and chop into tiny pieces.
Add to the pot
Stir really well so the meat at the bottom is no longer stuck. Lower temperature of stove to a low medium (just bubbling). Cook for 1-2hrs. Stir every 10 minutes.
Have at a low boil for the first 30 minutes to cook the tomatoes, then turn the temperature down to “low” for a slow simmer.
