It's pretty much the same all the way up to diamond. I stopped playing after S3 and decayed to gold and now it's impossible for me to get out.

Absolutely nothing in particular. There is just a huge elo/mmr difference between enemy team and mine. They just die all the time and the others get fed.

Season 3 I was one of the first people to get diamond, but I had to stop playing for personal reasons, and now I guess it still keeps a record of my high mmr/elo and matches me up with 11 divisions difference in the teams. A few friends share the same problem on Master and after they get a 3-4 win streak they lose a game on purpose so the losing streak doesn't start.

Recently asked a Diamond 2 friend I've watched climb since before either of us were level 30 for advice. For support, he suggested ONLY to play Thresh or mage supports (Annie, Zyra, Brand, Vel'koz). Tanks are okay, but only Thresh has the lantern to protect idiot ADCs, and the mages have the damage-- to deal when your ADC is an idiot.
Basically your best bet is to make sure you can save your ADC or do most of their job (but still spoon-feed them the kills.)
I personally like Leona more than Thresh, so I asked him about it but he said the lantern makes all the difference.

It's really funny when you consider everyone in your game is from the same pool of people, placed fairly randomly into two teams. The only consistent variable is you and whoever is in your party. This party is always split into two groups of five, one is five strangers and one is four strangers and you. Being unable to achieve even a fifty percent win ration would suggest you are the weak component dragging every team you've been on down. It is statistically improbable that out of the four open slots, you'll always get somebody worse than you and the rest of the eight strangers to drag your team down. They would be on the opposing team over half of the time. Being in "ELO Hell" is an admission that you are not nearly as good as you think you are. As soon as you realize this you'll get better but first you must recognize that you're worse than the majority of people in the same ELO pool as you.

i think she actually is a lot more about utility, but her poke damage can bully for sure early in the lane. if you run windspeakers and ult shield your entire team while locking down picks with your w or assassins/divers in some cases she provides a ton of utility to teamfights, rotations, and objective control. ardent censor + locket = teamfight won. she isn't just a velkoz/brand dmg support imo her real kit is the shields and mobility.

you have to work with your team no matter what role you're playing in this meta. it's all about objectives and early skirmishes. the times you can 1 v 9 are pretty rare unless you are way below your true elo. i carry with support all the time. you can either damage control if your adc is really bad or even get them to win lane just by creating plays for him while he autos like a brainless retard. then you roam mid or with your jg to get vision and boom mid game comes and you are helping the most fed guy on your team stay alive and do the most dmg possible. then you win and get no credit but it's ok because support is so easy.
