And she confirmed it was, but she didn't have the guts to tell me, because she liked what we had. She explained that she found out about it in her teens, and the guy she almost dated before me, left her because of it. So she didn't want to lose me and took it day by day, not knowing when to tell me, so days turned to weeks, months then years.

I also asked if there were other people she was seeing, and she claimed she never did see anyone. We just talked a bit about where we stand as of now. And we agreed to take it easy for a few days atleast, away from eachother to clear our heads.

OP here. We discussed this when she was more calm as I mentioned earlier and I asked her if it was true. She explained it was, how she found out in her teenage years, and had a boyfriend leave her because of it, which brought about her reluctance to tell me.
