ffmpeg can be a bitch to learn, but it's probably the most versatile you'll find. As for user-friendly options, not a clue. I stopped looking when I found ffmpeg because it works on any OS and does *everything* (everything from video conversion, audio conversion, turning a series of images into a webm, etc)
