My laptop has 16-character passwords for both SSDs, the power-on password and Windows login password. The only way to log in is either by entering all 4 passwords or by fingerprint recognition.
The SSDs have full-drive encryption and if you try to plug them into an ext drive enclosure they show up as blank.
On top of that, I can set them to trigger a BSoD on boot if ever I am forced to log in. It gives me the option of plausible deniability and claim that my PC is broken in the case of a search by small authorities.

Truecrypt was discontinued under suspicious circumstances and there were a lot of hints pointing towards a gag order. Bitlocker is just like locking a box with no fucking hinges, it doesn't matter how big your lock is if people can just open it from the other side.
