Individually I like the cast, but this project is awful on a few levels. The trailers didn't get a single laugh out of me (nor anyone I asked in my circle of friends, nor my wife) - it just doesn't seem like a comedy I want to see on its own merits.

Add in to that the shenanigans about announcing the continuity of '30 years ago....' at the start of the trailer, getting cameos by the remaining actors but not actually making it part of the same continuity - it's confused and sloppy on that front too and kinda pisses all over the original - this is also how I felt about Robocop being unnecessary.

If anything I hope movies like this and Robocop keep flopping so Hollywood will stop making sloppy remakes and either do them justice or leave them alone.
