I mean, even when you consider a game like touhou, shit like Ikaruga and dodonpachi blow it out of the water, both in character and artstyle wise, and touhou isn't even that great of a bullet hell, even the music is lackluster in that aspect.

Meanwhile people on /v/ play the actual good shmups/bullet hell games like ikaruga, dodonpachi, armed seven and mushihimesama and the like.

Like, I'm being honest here, pc98 touhou was ass, and even the new games aren't great, not even close to good and they don't give you half the adrenaline rush like you do with other bullet hell games
I mean hell, even the new halo or doom gave me more of an adrenaline rush (the new doom was disappointing, didn't expect it to literally be run and gun with little to no missions) than touhou, and those aren't even bullet hell games.
Don't you guys think it's time to move on to something less dated and more engaging than touhou?
