The first couple seasons were the best where they mostly adhered to the books. In later seasons the writing gets a little wonky as they take more liberties with the plot and characters, but there's still plenty of awesome moments and interesting things unfurling.

You could enjoy it for the cinematography at least.

I think Disco is an extremely underrated genre of music. It combines classical and reggae with its own blend of style, leading into a really groovy and upbeat musical experience. Everyone i've talked to that lived through the 70s always said they loved the disco and miss it now. Anyone notice how after the disco became dead, all the blacks started being niggers?
