Like I said I realized a while ago that I would probably die because I was basically abusing my brain and never using my body unless it meant eating shit food or drinking myself to sleep.
Eating better and realizing I needed to exercise to keep my body in good shape (your brain is apparently a part of your body apparently lol) really has made a difference. I couldn't live like that anymore. It is just unsustainable and I was miserable.

Started out street as a youngster, turned adderall, brief sprint with some lab-grade meth from a chemist friend, turned street meth, turned back into adderall then now dextro-amph both with prescriptions. Turns out I have a sleep disorder and have needed it this whole time. Glad I now have a regulated/insured means for it now though.

Definitely has been a struggle keeping it under control, since I have a love for stims and they fix most of the problems I have stemming from the sleep disorder, but I've gotten it into a "tool" routine so as to minimize abuse.

As far as "amphetamines" as a chemical structure, I love subbed amphetamines like 2/4-FA and FMA, as well as classical amphetamine psychs like DOB, DOM, etc but those are mostly a thing of the past and a big rarity nowadays.
