Yes, there was valid reason for them to be pulled over. Yes, the kid was in the back. Yes they had drugs in the vehicle although the officer probably didnt know it. No, this man was not your typical 'thug' that gets shot by cops. He was an NRA member as well. If you watch the video, the girlfriend changes her story a couple times about how many times he was shot, about what the cop said "hands up" "stop, don't move!" "let me see your ID" . The video she recorded is probably going to fuck her up in court because anytime you go on record recounting the events of the crime in question, and you recount it different ways, your testimony isn't given much weight. The defense for the cop will pick this apart and say that she doesn't even know what happened.
