I had a banana ball python
It was only a few months old but it was very cuddly and loved boops I was looking for a banana ball for months and now I don't think I could get another

If there is heat to begin with or heat is being generated... as for sneks, there's no generation of heat happening and they probably absorb more from the environment than the sweater would allow them to retain.
We humans are warm blooded, we generate a certain amount of heat and clothing keeps us from radiating it away from us.

yea no even "cold blooded" animals generate heat due to cellular respiration. sneks are "poikilotherms" which means they bask in the hot sun in midday to keep warm. they can reduce their metabolism to save energy while basking. This doesnt actually make them "cold blooded" at all times tho.

Ours here in Sweden are usually darker, almost black sometimes.

Uh I used to catch snakes around my house to keep for a couple weeks. I've owned a shit ton of reptiles and amphibians just not many sneks
When I was a kid one escaped and my mom who's terrified of the sneks stayed at her office all weekend until my dad finally had me call her and ask "mom are u ever coming home" lol it worked and the snek was found 3 weeks later in the laundry alive and well

Ball python is a good simple snek.
I can,t give you a good price breakdown tho cuz it,s my pal who owns one.
But it,s really not bad.
Habitat and stuff would be the initial investment. Figure 100 bucks or less.
Dunno what food costs but you don,t have to feed everyday.

Unfortunately sneks around my place are all venomous and highly dangerous. Basicly rattlesnakes and pit vipers. You have to kill them or remove them however unfortunately most of the time its the former and not the later due to money involved and threats to pets.

There is a lot of reptiles here, even up here in the very north were it get as cold as -45 Celsius in the winters.
They hibernate in burrows, holes and under fallen tree's etc during the winter months.
Then they wake up after 7-8 months when spring comes.
