I'm sure there are use cases where someone might appreciate 10Gbps.
As it stands right now I'm having a hard time utilising 500M, but then again I'm the only client on my network who uses anything more than 2Mbps of bandwidth. I only have 2 other clients and they use almost nothing.
Perhaps if someone had a family of 20 kids all watching 4K video at the same time it would make sense.
That, and they'd need massive amounts of CAT6 STP.
