So take this for what it's worth, but as a Hawks fan I've always despised playing against Weber and loved playing against Subban and here's why:

Weber is big, strong, leads well, and not afraid to constantly stick up for his goaltender, which Price needs. Weber make Rinne look decent, which is saying a lot when you look at the level of competition in the division (He had to defend Stars, Blues, Hawks, even Minnesota had solid forwards at times and Colorado is one year out from the playoffs. He is a high caliber defenseman.

When Subban shoots from the blue line he seems to miss the net and lead to extra man opps the other way. Weber didn't miss the net often, even if he didnt score - which we all know can lead to scrappy goals, but doesn't lead to odd man rushes the other way.

TLDR: Subban may be younger, but I think Weber gets them closer to a cup.
