I drink as much as I can everyday though i am limiting myself during the weekdays.

It's so much cheaper to buy stuff yourself than going to bars, and i manage to waste all my money on cheap booze and weed without going to bars anyway..
But if i have the money and go for a drink (which rarely happens) i tend to spend to much money so i avoid it in general.
I usually just invite people to my place to get drunk or do so by myself.

That's the worst aspect of it, if your addiction is a subject known within the family and discussed etc.
Makes you feel like a burden, and if you have other mental shit going on it makes it all much worse.

I've been to college but I already work 30-50 hours depends on the holidays.
I'm going for music performance which requires a lot of time outside the classroom. My private lessons will even be on sunday.

I actually started getting so busy to begin with cause I knew I had a lot of time that I was using poorly.

Im not denying anything, im trying to better myself with therapy and rehabs and make it up to the people that love me.
But they also see my addiction as a condition, or as a circumstance that had an influence in alot of relationships within my family, they don't think im a bad person for it.

I just thought about drinking a shot of Bailey's and milk, but decided against it because I'm working tomorrow and that's how much of a faggot I am. I very rarely drink mid-week, but can drink like a fish when I can set aside a few days for the hangover. I need a solid head for my job too and I hate not being sharp.

I was pretty young at the time but never behaved, i stopped going to school out of nowhere and stood at home doing nothing, being physically abusive towards anybody that wanted to come close to me..
So eventually i got there and my parents didnt wanna take me back home, so i would've been homeless if they kicked me out of the ward.
During my time there my 'sickness' got stronger and eventually did more harm that good, and i kept going in and out of different wards throughout the years.

I work psych too for nearly 17 years. I've seen many drunks and drug addicts admitted.

I drink probably anywhere from 0 - 2 beers a day after work/while relaxing. If I go to a party or out to a bar with someone though I drink heavier. Hardly ever drink liquor, but will occasionally.

Yeah, the addicts come in with the "I'm gonna kill myself" shit because they want to get clean and think that the doctors will give them meds for withdrawals, some docs will, some won't. This is not a fucking state funded detox center, and even if they are clean for a week I almost always ended up seeing them a month or so later. "Revolving door syndrome" is what most nurses called it.

Half a bottle of bourbon a day, sometimes 8-12 beer or a wine bottle. On weekends I almost always get blackout wasted including Sunday's.
I drink because I'm addicted now, stared out of grief and depression.

During the week it's like the equivalent of 6 beers/6 shots a day. Weekend? Like 12 beers/12 shots a day. I've got a wife, two kids, and a decent paying job. But I drink a lot.
