thermite burns around 2000-3000F, OP if you use that you will get into the safe and risk burning everything inside it making your efforts a waste of time

just use a metal saw and cut around the door ffs

be carefull not to break lock pick as you will have to craft a new one
or use a flesh light as a suction cup over lock and squeeze on the correct number secuence

All "safes" that can be picked up, are shit and generally open up by slamming the corner on concrete or the like. Don't be a little bitch and threw it on the same corner till it opens. Sometimes it takes a pry bar after doing that, or a wedge with a sledge hammer, but almost always throwing it does the trick

find any key you dont use and put it up to the lock. hit it hard and straight with a hammer into the lock. this will pressure form the key to the lock and it will open with a jiggle or two.
