this is very simplified, BUT your first issue is that you made the ribcage wayyyy too big. Ladies, traditionally, have small ribcages. elbows line up with the waist, breasts aren't visible from this angle. shoulders need to be wide enough to have the arms, though, flesh is soft so they aren't at their full width at the shoulder.
I made the ribcage a little bigger in this instance so it wouldn't be too far off from your original idea, but it isn't unnaturally big.
the rest (hips, butt) is up to you.
