Had a great beer fest this weekend here in The Netherlands. Had some great Cascade Sours amongst others. The winner tho was the Omnipollo Noa Pecan Mud Cake, smells and tastes like a real pecan nuts choco brownie cake, insanely good.

Been tasting and rating beers since 1 year now, only had some easy to get beers before that (which means rochefort, karmeliet and chimay here in the supermarket). Beer I always have in stock is Orval.

Switched from drinking wine for a couple of reasons. I'm a kinda poor college student without parents. My drinking buddy didn't like every wine and wine spoils kinda fast. Wine is more expensive. Beer has a lot more differentiation in flavor.

Been a long time since there was a decent drinking thread here. Most of the time it's just people drinking shitty shit I feel bad for. I find it sad how most people think life will give them shit without putting effort into it. Makes me aprreciate the hard life I've had without parents. Did a great time of finding out who I am and what I like. Nowadays most people listen to shit music because they don't want to search for shit they like. But here I am with mah Floyd
