I'm pro-abortion. Not pro-choice, pro-abortion. Pregnant women should need to pass a test to get a license to give birth. This test would include basic questions like "Are you in a relationship or just a dumb slut? Are you employed? Is the father employed? Have you ever been convicted of a violent crime? Are you a high school graduate? Are you currently on drugs? Are you an alcoholic?"

Then both parents should have to pass an IQ test where 100 is pass and everything below is a fail. This would mean a lot less black and hispanic babies, but I could live with that.

It's on my reading list. You should check out Mutation Planet by Barrington Bayley while we're at it. Despite being written in '70s, it touches on a variety of topics you've written about extensively on this blog. Basically, it's about a group of scientists (from different alien races, including humans) exploring a planet where a nigh-supreme being inhibits evolution by slowing mutation with a genetic mist; the only things that are allowed to happen on this alien world are the things he decides will not interfere with his genetic interests. It also briefly examines the naivete of multiculturalism jingoists who naively assume everyone has the same agenda by presenting a parable of sorts when the scientists all have different reactions to the de facto god of this planet.

I highly recommend it. It's a very short story and you can read it online here:

I scored in the 99th percentile in perceptual reasoning index, specifically in visual puzzles, and concept formation as well. Unfortunately, I am a diagnosed autistic and I scored extremely low in a few areas as well. I just don't think killing/sterilization is something that should be based off an IQ test. IQ tests are just like any other tests you write. Sometimes you do better than other times. What if someone has a bad day and does bad on their test? Also, you can practice for IQ tests, which in my opinion is contrary to IQ being set in stone and dictated by genetics.

Unless you are given a 3+ hour long IQ test by a qualified psychiatrist or psychologist, you are doing it wrong. Those tests were not IQ tests (the school ones). They were placement tests.

For anyone not up to speed
The Eugenics movement began as part of a desire to eliminate "genetically inferior" groups. In the US, it was heavily supported by rich white men (Rockefeller, etc). This went along with the heavy immigration restrictions seen in the first part of the 20th century.

The idea of preventing any more "unfit" people from being born was widely supported. For example, in Connecticut in 1896 they forbade anyone who was "epileptic, imbecile or feeble-minded" from marrying from fear of passing along those traits. Basically, you were fit if you were "socially mobile", but since the upper & middle classes were primarily white people, this reinforced the idea that the white race was the most genetically fit.

For a time 30 states had compulsory sterilization laws in effect, that were targeted in large part against the mentally retarded (termed 'imbeciles'). The Nazis used the 'success' of forced sterilization in California (where it was practiced the most) as proof that such a thing would be feasible in Nazi Germany.

There were at least 2000 forced sterilizations performed on poor black women without their consent or knowledge. Many other groups were targeted, like Native American women.

Eugenics was heavily aligned with euthanasia, or "mercy killings" of "defectives"

In light of the atrocities committed by the Nazis, who as you mentioned were huge proponents of eugenics, public opinion in the United States towards the idea pretty much soured, whereas the majority of (white) US citizens had previously supported the idea.
