my experience smoking with strangers is pretty bad. well, probably. i smoked with people i didnt really know back in high school and i was just paranoid as fuck the entire day. they told me it was ak47, and i took two hits and got higher than the north star. they didnt feel anything, and i was just standing there staring at them and it was like they were whispering to each other and talking about me, like they drugged me and i was gonna get beaten later.

the entire time i was with them (i skipped class, walked out with them, it was the last day) i was very scared. and i kept pulling my pants up and it was like i was doing it twice but i only did it once every time. i was walking on the sidewalk with them and saw my friend wave to me and say my name on the other side of the sidewalk. so i ran up to him and saw it wasnt him and immidately turned around back to the people i was with. they were like "dude are you okay, that wasnt _____" so i told them straight up and they were like chill.

but then when they went to the skatepark i was just standing there and i saw one of the kids whispering to someone about me. it was like i had super hearing. they played frisbee and it almost hit my head but i just moved my head, like a i had good reflexes. then i sat down on the bench and closed my eyes and it felt like i was falling into oblivion. then we sneaked back just in time for the buses and i went home and ate mac and cheese (still high). overall i think it was a bad experience. i just usually smoke by myself, but last winter i smoked all day at work with some people but like someone else said, they were just using me to smoke up probably.

i still dont know if that was weed. that was too strong.

It's hard, being "high" isn't radically different on different drugs, the effects do vary... For me hallucinations have never been quite as visually stunning as usually depicted but more on the side of subtle surrealism, like stuff you're not sure you've heard or things you see out of the corner of your eye and are gone when you focus... At best is like when you close your eyes after looking at a source of light and they persist changing shape and color... Obviously you're not in a common mood, deja vu is a common experience for me. Mileage varies a lot tho, I think I'm in the less psychodelic side of the spectrum.

Regular drug use during formative years (before the brain is fully developed, age 25) has been shown to have a demonstrated impact on impulse control in particular (and regular stimulant use even after those ages can degrade the prefrontal cortext) but last I checked there has been no research on drugs actually reducing "intelligence" (considering there is still debate on what intelligence actually consists of). But by your logic, drugs shouldn't have any effect on intelligence unless you are high 24/7 AND not making any effort to stimulate the areas of your brain not involved in "intelligence".

anyone get to the point on LSD where you start to dissociate from your body and go into total fantasy land?
