Eh, I think most artist don't care tooo much about realism in that matter.
What ever floats their boat, I guess. Its also mostly CD and Wolfram that really like litter pal's. Like ALOT. Others have done some stuff, but yeah. Not that common. Not part of my headcanon, To impractical. Some animals (even mamals) can survive on human shit for example, but yeah.
