Pizza Hut actually had good pizza once upon a time. That was when they actually made the pizza by hand, before it became a frozen crust which the teenagers they have working there slop on the pre-measured amount of sauce, cheese, toppings and put it in an automated timed oven that can't tell the difference of a piece of frozen dough that needs an extra 1-2 minutes of cook time because it was in the back of the freezer where the temps were another 5-10 degrees colder than the rest.

Ours is a micro-chain, really. 40 years ago they had almost a dozen stores, mostly they were dine-in (no delivery), most of them closed. A few new ones opened up. The atmosphere is.... sadly gone. The old ones were like a medieval Spanish castle, staffed by 40-something hispanic chicks you definitely didn't want to fuck with.

The new stores look like your basic shit-tier pizza joint. Staffed with teenagers who can't get a real job. But..... the crust is basically the same as ever. And the stuff on top- less adventuresome but still high quality ingredients.

I'm a employee at cost o and they pizza sucks. Comes frozen isn't made fresh. Some locations say made fresh in store but it's a lie. It's assembled fresh but the ingredients come frozen. Plus just sucks. The sauce is no good same as the cheese. The pepperoni only tastes good when it's burnt. The dough is like cardboard. They also put way to many pepperoni it over powers the rest. And it's usually stale. It's only decent when it comes right out the over after 5 min of sitting there becomes nasty really fast. And they won't reheat it in the oven if it's been sitting there for like 20 min. Oh also when I bite it the cheese and entire top comes off in 1 bite because they use to much sauce.
