Brits, I want to know how you're going to vote tomorrow, and I want to how many of you are happy to tell people that in person, rather than from behind a computer screen.

I don't think as many Leavers are so willing to declare their allegiance in public as Remainers are. Am I right?
>>
I get the feeling you're right. I'm voting Remain and the only people who I know are voting leave are three family members. Only one of whom made it known on Facebook and didn't try to argue it with me.

I think it's not as much about shame on the Remainers side.
Leavers just tend to be very vocal.

[x] Brexit
>>
>>690922210
And why are you voting remain? Just curious.
>>
>>690922210

I'm voting Leave, but i'm not massively fussed either way. I know a fairly even balance, but think there are a lot of shy voters out there. Kind of like the election last year where they're not being picked up in polls.
>>
>>690922375
I feel like the Leave campaign is playing dirty and holding back the facts.

I don't have the time to get into every little detail, and I know both sides are playing dirty, but it all comes down to me not trusting the Tories to have even more power than they already do.

Immigration won't change and the money won't come to us because there is no money. We make more from the union than we pay into it.

Ultimately, though, it comes down to me not trusting the Tory government, thats already fucking us in the ass, with a bigger strap on.

At least if we vote remain now we can opt to leave at a later date. If we leave and it all goes to shit, it'll take a miracle to rejoin.
>>
>>690922725
Surely not better to leave now with than when the entire ship sinks in 20 years time? I think it's an unsustainable project made up of too many different countries who are, ultimately, too different to ever enter a permenant political union.
>>
>>690922725

isn't the conservative party backing remain though?
>>
>>690922061

If the EU starts to go down, we can jump ship by an act of UK parliament.
If the UK starts to go shitside up, all 27 EU countries need to agree to let us back in and like fuck will they help us if we're not members.

The biggest questions to ask are these:
Do you want Boris Johnson to run the country?
Do you want to apply for a Visa next time you want to go 22 miles over to France for a weekend and some cheep booze?
Do you like not being up to £4k per household worse off than you are now?
Do you want the NHS to go fully private.

These things, except MAYBE the Boris one, will happen if we leave. For the first 5 years, nothing will change. After that, prices go up, wages stay the same, we all enjoy the fruits of poverty.
>>
>>690922061
Voting Leave. Have had to cut myself off from my friends because I'm been branded a racist.
>>
>>690923599
Are your reasons for leave based purely on "Keep the foreigners out"? Like most of the others? If not, you're not a racist.
>>
>>690923520
I'm sure our Lord and Saviour Jeremy Corbyn will stop the NHS going private.
>>
The reason we don't come out as brexiters in public is because remain voters do not have their own argument apart from attacking brexiters.
It's pathetic really that they need someone else to dicide for them
>>
I love the irony of Brits laughing at Trump support then supporting Brexit
>>
>>690923804
Corbyn wont be able to stop the elite getting their grubby mitts on our healthcare
>>
>>690923766
I do have issues with immigration but only in a practical sense. I'm actually pro-immigration but if the schools and NHS can't cope it wont do anyone any good. But when I try making my point I just get lumped into the 'remove the kebab' nutters who seem to think Britain will be a utopia if every non-white Brit was thrown out.
>>
Wait, so this BR Exit is not about removing BRs???
>>
>>690923804
Not without the EU keeping the Tories in check, he won't. The EU puts many restrictions on what the elected government can do to benefit themselves rather than the people. Another great example is maternity leave. We only have it the way we do now because of EU regulations. Jeremy Hunt was recently quoted to say that countries that allow extended maternity leave are "idiots".

I, personally, don't want a woman who has just shot a person out of their vag back at work the next day fucking up my day with her hormones.
>>
>>690924040
Well I think your reasoning is sound. Not enough to remove us from the EU, in my opinion, but you don't sound like a fanatic.
>>
>>690922725
Where is the extra money that we're getting back coming from. I mean I'm pretty sure repbaits and everything accounted for were still 170million in the red each week. Is this money coming from Greece, Spain ,refugees?
>>
>>690924080
Ah yes. Because we will definitely reduce maternity leave to 24 hours when we leave.
>>
>>690924301
Granted, I exaggerated by saying 'next day'. Granted, he may not reduce it. But do you think he'd have let it be as good as it is now if the EU wasn't involved? The point is that these cunts don't care about us, they care about their pockets. Give them more power by taking away their keepers and we're all gunna see them line their pockets and leave us to rot. The only advantage is that they won't be able to get summer homes abroad because they'll have to put up with the constant visa applications and restrictions too.
>>
>>690923804
Isnt the NHS having some realy problems? Sorry ignorant americlap here, i thought i read about high working hours for nurses and doctors with low compensation, and an eminent walk out? Am i wrong?
>>
>>690924589

>>
I'm voting Remain because my wife had already had sex with all the immigrants in our area and shes hungry for more.
>>
>>690924670
You're not entirely wrong. But that's because of what our government has already done to the NHS. I shudder to think what it'll be like after Brexit.
>>
>>690924821
Do you think things will change if you stay in?
>>
>>690924880
Not any time soon, I imagine. They may yet get worse. But at least it won't be a complete clusterfuck.
>>
amerilard here, if britain leave the eu won't they still have all the asian/african immigrants still coming in anyway?
>>
We need the EU to sort everything out because we are helpless useless country on our own. We're better together because EU stops wars not NATO or UN. Benedict cumberbatch begged in a public letter for us to remain to fund his shit films. We are better trade negioaters along side romainia because fuck Canada.
I'm not racist
Vote remain summed up
>>
>>690924984
Yep. But don't tell a Leave voter that. It'll blow their fucking mind.
>>
>>690924984
Yes. And all the European ones still. The main difference is that more of them will be illegal than they are now
>>
>>690924984

Stop pointing out the obvious.
>>
>>690924966
So you feel privatization of the NHS would make it worse?
>>
>>690924984
The EU dictates that these migrants are allowed to freely move around once they reach Europe. They generally go to strong countries like us and Germany. If we Leave they'll have to come here illegally.
>>
>>690925093

That's going to happen either way, in fact it largely already has.

>>

fair enough but did britain not have shittons of african and indian/pakistani immigrants before the eu by virtue of old colonies? like french with north africans
>>
>>690925221

>>
>>690924984
Mr amerifag. Our polish and romainian migrant workers are very similar to your Mexicans. They make it impossible for white working class to get jobs at fair rates. And that problem is caused by the EU migration policy not by our other shit policy
>>
>>690925221

There, as here, everyone's just going to have to come to peace with it.
>>
>>690925093
People can hardly afford to live as it is. Free healthcare is our best asset. If I broke my arm and had to pay the kind of hospital fees that Americans do, I'd be in debt for life. Who would that benefit? The company raking in the interest. Who owns those companies? Business partners, friends, family, etc, of those in charge in government. Who wins in privatisation? The rich. Who loses? The rest of us.

Sure, the service may improve and the wait times might be better but I won't know because I'm too busy trying to make a cast at home and give myself physiotherapy.

Auscunt here. I think the deal is just that they'll be able to set their own immigration policy. As an EU member the country with the most lax policy basically sets the agenda for all of Europe, since when you become a citizen of one country you can move anywhere in the EU.

I can barely believe how cucked you would have to be to want to stay in the EU. The guy above is just plain wrong, Britain pays a lot more into the EU than they get back. There is literally no reason to be an EU member. People think it matters to trade or cooperation or whatever lame excuse, but there was trade and cooperation between European countries before the EU and there will be after the EU. You don't need to make trade deals to trade. Or one currency or a European Central Bank. All a bunch of bullshit invented by arsehole politicians.

>>690926837

I don't think it'll be as tight as all that, the bookies are usually a far better indicator than opinion polls and they aren't holding it as being particularly close.

Both sides of the debate, and the media, have a vested interest in ensuring it looks close. Bookmakers have a vested interest in ensuring they don't lose money.

The EU is undemocratic and unaccountable. It's sad that our economic ties are so deep that we shouldn't leave even if we want to.
>>
This is easy: Vote Remain.

This is classic government mind control to take further power over its people. It works like this
1. The government create a problem, in this case immigration.
2. The people, with the help of the media get up in arms over it.
3. The government offers a solution to vote to leave Europe.
4. The government covers its own ass by publically supporting remain.
5. All the thickos suckered in by this vote to leave.
6. The government then has full power to pass whatever laws it wants and take away human rights and welfare for the sick etc etc etc.

Being in acts as a check and balance for our laws and stops our corrupt politicians riding roughshot over us. Vote remain or continue the errosion of our civil liberties.

>>
>>690923520
Your fucking retarded the NHS began even before the EU was made, so why would the NHS go private after all these historic years we've had?
>>
You all know this referendum is a distraction yeah?

Indulge me in a little bit of tin hat theory here, but seriously... If the consequences of leaving were as bad as is made out, do you genuinely think they'd let us vote on it? They wouldn't let us vote on going to war... they wouldn't let us vote on cutting income tax... leaving the EU means fuck all, it's nothing. Trade with EU will continue, trade outside EU will continue, Immigration will continue, Emigration will continue.

But, they make it out to be a big issue, drive a wedge between two evenly sized chunks of society.

Why? Because the UK is on the cusp of yet another recession. Why? Because we never finished the last recession. The recession was cut short by quantative easing, BOE base rate plummeted to a record low, and they've never worked out how to get things going again. The base rate has been at it's all time low for 6 years. 6 years! Prior to this, it never stayed still for 6 months!

So, we'll argue amongst ourselves about this pointless fucking vote. Whatever the outcome, it will be used as a justification for the interest rate to finally rise, recession will restart, and whichever way we vote in this referendum, the people will be blamed, and they'll leave us to call each other names and ignore the fact that it was their incompetent meddling in the economy that caused it.

Then, it'll all be outed in a movie like The Big Short in a decades time, and you'll all be here on /b/ pretending you'd known all about it since the beginning.
>>
I'm more than happy to say in public I'm voting Leave.

Funny thing happened today though - we had a couple of people go by my shop on my town's high street, waving an EU flag shouting "Vote remain, don't vote racist."

They were German.

a) it's not their fucking vote
b) of course Germany wants us to remain, we're the second highest contributors to the EU behind them.

No.
>>
>>690941621
yes, VOTE LEAVE! Get out of the communist unelected United States Of Europe / EUSSR.
>>
I like how modern imigration is a apparently a problem in the heads of British people when in reality there are millions of people from India and other former colonies who have been there for years.

Apart from that the Brexit is not going to happen, of course. People like keeping things the way they are.

shut up you fucking lefty beta cuck
>>
>>690934273
>implying the government is trying to take away human rights and that by leaving the eu they will be able to do this unopposed
nice fearmongering faggot

theres no problem with immigration at all, the problem is with the European Union, it's corrupted as hell and power hungry, not to mention a huge debt union / communist / un elected / falling apart.

Jean Claude Juncker's latest quote:

''U lil faggot brits are stayin right here u bitches, and your gonna like being my slaves with all your sand nigger cunts''

I've already voted and I voted to remain within our union. I look forward to many more years working with our partners to achieve a true United States of Europe as a stepping stone to an eventual world-wide federation.
>>
I'm voting Leave.

I personally think it's telling that the Socialist Party as well as the more right wing Conservatives want us to leave; it goes beyond party allegiance and shows that the more radical elements of British politics both agree, which is a real rarity.

The EU's end-game is fully integrated political union or bust. I'd rather be out now and suffer some potentially lean years than wait until the project goes bust when the next global economic correction happens.

>The EU's end-game is fully integrated political union or bust

Precisely the reason I'm voting to stay in our Union.
>>
>>690926795
cuz they are your biggest trade partners and you dont fkn know whats going to happend after you vote leave.
btw. i hope you vote leave so you can fuk yourself up so you can plead EU for getting in again in 10-20 years.
>>
>>690943308
your going to enjoy not working at all. the EU is spiraling into the shitter and so is the currency and the banks. Just wait till the third greek bailout and then portugal and italy and so on.
>>
>>690944008
no China / India will become our biggest trade partners fuck the EU all we do is buy their cars which will still happen, they need us more. We used to rule two thirds of the planets land surface so im sure we can make an agreement to sell haha
>>
>>690943802
We had the oldest democratic parliment in the world and now it is slowly dying because European Union controls everything, we are slowly getting fucked so they can funnel our money into failing countries like Portugal / Greece so that by the time it is our turn we cant do anything and they control us.
>>
>>690944553
yeah, you rulled but you dont anymore. you fuked up the whole thing. dont flatter yourself, you are irrelevant economicaly on global scale. only thing you have is london cuz its financial centar of europe. once you fuk that up you will become shithole.
>>
>>690945013
yea we fucked up because we joined some bullshit EU, we should never have voted to join it. But even being strapped onto a sand nigger continent we still managed to be the #5 biggest economy in the world.

At least when we leave we might actually become powerful again.

They even won't let us upgrade broadband in rural areas because they told us we have to spend it on insurance shit instead, who the fuck are they to tell us to do anything.
