Hope you like fish. Don't tip too.
Japan is cool, really shit at speaking English, so learn some Japanese.

As far as i heard japs are all kinds of racist, so don't expect to be welcome for more then holidays.
But in the end you could ask /int/ - it's a good source for cultural references.

If possible, enroll for a study. Or if your English is good, teach English. Otherwise, try wwoof.

Good luck. Might be really shitty experience.

You should be able to easily get a working holiday visa to korea, then teach english or something.
From there you can holiday to japan
just curious, how many pages is this?

I lived in Kawasaki (next to Tokyo) for a year and a half teaching English and Math. Teaching English is the main thing that foreigners start out doing; if you're a native speaker, you can get a job with any of the big language schools np (GABA, Aeon, Coco's, or Berlitz).
If you don't need money, just work part-time and enjoy life, homie. practice japanese everyday so you have something to show for it when you get back. Check out Korea and SE asia while you're there. get off the trails of fushimi inari if you ever hit kyoto. honestly, living abroad in Japan was one of the best decisions I've made so far

(I'm a Canadafag, so we can get working holiday visas for a year. Otherwise, you'd probably have to get sponsored as a full-time teacher)
