no joke bro one of my favorite trips

i got me a blanket with mostly blue, spots of green and white in random patterns

sat on that blanket tripping out
saw the blue as a vast ocean, the green as landmasses, and the white as clouds
i felt like a god of a small world that i could cause waves across moving the oceans etc
it was fucking amazing
i know i probably looked retarded but thats what shrooms is all about
great times bro great times could deffinately make it better with some imagination

sure cut off a few caps and use the spores to grow your own in a "clean" enviroment
all it takes is some substrate, mason jars, kitchen gloves, and a tote. fucking easy

i know its easy and the chances of risk picking wild shrooms is low but there is still a risk of other bacteria hitching a ride on those shrooms contaminating them and then causing infection and other problems when you ingest them
again the chances of it happening may be low but i personally would rather use the spores to grow my own and cut those chances down some more when dealing with deadly bacteria

Depends on the type that grows near you - you can look up stuff like what they like to grow on (trees/ground/dung/etc) but go picking 1-2 weeks of lots of rain. The ones I find like to grow on slopes and usually near water sources like creeks.

Most importantly be absolutely certain you're picking the right ones. Can end badly if you eat the wrong ones.

I wash them first and run them through a dehydrator until cracker-dry and store them in a airtight mason jar (bag is just temporary). Bacteria tend to love moisture and oxygen so I think these will be fine.

Yeah I want to trying growing them for myself at some point, maybe even some foreign varieties from spore prints. I dont mind doing the hiking for them though, good exercise and it's like an easter egg hunt for adults

Get everything you need to do out of the way first, turn off your phone and do it in a comfortable setting with nobody to bother you.

2g is not a crazy amount so you probably handle it, if it's uncomfortable don't worry eventually you will peak and the come down is very gentle and you'll start to feel more like yourself. Just try to relax and take it easy.

I live in Florida though where it's like the creme de la creme for shroom hunting because of the insanely humid weather. Hasn't rained in awhile though and I live pretty far from cow pastures, plus it seems kinda really sketchy and illegal to trespass over someones property and look for psychedelics

OP here - this is how I started getting into picking/identifying shrooms. If you ask around some people will be able to give you a general idea of where to start looking, failing that Google Earth can be helpful.

The spot I always used to go to had some bushfires rip through one summer and after that it was completely barren in the winter. Used G.E. to find similar looking places and found some other spots from there.
