The road to hell is paved with good times.
ex mil guy here.
>>690565150
probably as a joke, it's what most of us are like, though I have no idea what kind of people join the army here
how long ago did you leave?
There are more interesting stories from around the world though pick a continent and I'll tell you something.
>>690565413
I don't know where to start, where was your favourite place?
>>690565330
Australians and Americans have a lot in common personality-wise I feel. I just think there is less diversity over there. Also American military tries to be very pc. I left a little over a year ago.
>>690565635
depends what you mean by diversity
>>690565512
That's very hard to pinpoint. The middle east sucked, but I made the most friends there. Southeast Asia was basically a party. Africa was surprisingly quiet for me. Europe was neat, because I got to see a lot. South America was cool because I was there for the World Cup. North America was, well, North America.
Anyone have bondage
>>690565944
tell me about Southeast Asia then
>>690565739
I've always wanted to visit, but I never got the chance. From what I understand, because the USA is so much larger area and population-wise there is just more room for different cultures and ethnicities.
>>690566053
>implying that this furryfag NEET has every been anywhere outside google street view on his basement computer
As the sun rises my wiener does with it
>>690566207
Australia's a pretty cool place, just don't come during December-February
I dunno, we have a huge amount of immigrants for literally everywhere so we have quite a varied population due to that, can't really comment on that compared to the US though
>>690566029
Sure
>>690566053
Southeast Asia was basically go to work then go to the bars afterward. Soju was an interesting drink, but I wouldn't recommend it. It was served in a bowl with many straws, they didn't always replace and/or clean them. It was easy to find prostitutes of both sexes for a little bit, but they started cracking down on it. There were nites when some of us would party until 3 am get a whore and go to bed around 4 or 5 then wake up for work 2 hours later.
>>690566230
Is there any way I can help prove something to you?
>>690566637
how many people got diseases from the prostitutes?
>>690566751
That made me laugh! Some did, but most people prostitutes and military alike were smart enough to use condoms. Although you had to watch out sometimes. Some girls would try to make you get them pregnant. Not most, but some.
>>690566956
would they really benefit from that? I mean the military guy will probably have left the country before she can find out she's pregnant and figure out who the father is
>>690566230
This was our makeshift table that we all wrote something on when I left the middle east.
>>690567156
That all depends. Most American military spend quite a bit of time when stationed there. If they get them early Tada! their child is an American citizen.
>>690567346
I don't think that's how it works though is it? Surely that's not enough to gain citizenship for the child
>>690567472
Pls get the original rims back
>>690567472
In the USA if your Mother or Father is of US citizenship so are you for the most part.
>>690567610
agreed, those look terrible
>>690567635
huh, didn't realise it worked like that
>>690567762
I can't say for other countries, but the US has been like that for ages.
>>690567960
it sounds like it could be exploited easily
>>690568065
It can, and it does happen, but not that often. Usually people are smart about it. The vast majority of the prostitutes are doing this as an actual job too and understand that they can make more money doing that than getting an US baby.
>>690568305
not much that can be done about it is there?
>>690568305
Most military don't get paid that well. They subsidize us for housing and food, but our base pay is below the poverty line. at least for enlisted personnel earlier in their careers. You can live alright though, especially with roommates and if you're single.
>>690568537
I lived very well. You just need to watch your funds. Many don't.
>>690568477
No, but it's a very small problem overall. Anything else?
>>690568784
what about Europe?
>>690568862
Enjoyed Europe a lot never went to G.B. but most of my time was spent in Germany and France (family). The friggin Autobahn is insane! My first bunch of times on there I was just like, holy shit! I was going like 100 mph ~161 km/hr and people were passing me fast. Max speed limit you usually see in the US is 70 mph so like 110 km/hr. I was terrified until I got used to it. Middle east was worse though driving wise.
is it dead?
>>690569397
As long as I get questions? No.
>>690569378
I've always wanted to drive on the autobahn, but then I hear how bad it can be to drive on sometimes
>>690569499
I shall try my best to keep going then, where in Africa where you deployed?
>>690569512
It's just something you have to get used to. I was never completely comfortable with it, but I did get somewhat used to it.

>>690569743

>>690569769
Yes, but less so at night obviously. It ran pretty smoothly as long as one of us foreigners wasn't messing something up.
>>690570079
I bet that happens all the time
>>690569849
Not really. As I said earlier it was pretty quiet for me, just routine stuff. Got to meet some of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders of NFL (American style football) fame.
>>690570182
I was at fault a few times in the beginning
>>690570266
why were they there?
>>690570323
tsk tsk, that is disappointing
>>690569849
It was also very hot... not as hot as some parts of the middle east, but Australia gets stupidly hot from what I see and hear.
>>690570438
Sorry, no military stuff.
>>690570459
it does, no idea how it is compared to Africa but in summer where I am (one of the major cities) it regularly gets to 45C or 113F
>>690570552
it was just a performance wasn't it?
>>690570595
One part of the middle east was actually worse than that. 129F, so like 54C, plus humid as fuck in the mornings in that particular spot. Not what I expected.
>>690570651
What do you mean by performance?
>>690570886
we get that out in the desert, how anyone can handle that regularly is beyond me
>>690570926
like they got up on a stage and danced, or has tv lied to me and that doesn't actually happen?
yiff yiff
>>690571108
With the temp and humidity, you surprisingly get used to it after a while. Humans are really adaptable.
They did a cheer routine and then actually hung out with us for a while. It was quite enjoyable. Not why I was there, but it was a nice break.
SUp Hammmmmmmm

Being in hot weather sucks. I grew up where it was cold most of the year. It took me longer to get used to that again than the heat. Only about 2 weeks for the heat. About 2 months for the cold. I still don't think I can deal with cold as well anymore. Heat is ok though.

I'll trust you on that. It only gets that hot on a regular basis here in Arizona New Mexico, and Texas. Although those temps will show up on occasion in the midwest and deep south (rarely)

>muh american values

that and our disgustingly large military

>>690572848
do you have a least favourite part of the US?

>>690573669
I mentioned Katrina to point out that I can't really give it a fair shake. If it was me, what did we discuss?
>>690574030
Yup. Got it for 20K. It's at about 140-150K mileage. Bought it around the 120K mark.
Did some engine tuning, cleaning, the stuff. Loving it so far. Thought I'd finally found another Maserati driver...
>>690574256
it was a few months ago and I don't remember very well, but I added an ex military guy on steam and we talked for a little bit then I never got a chance to talk to him again
>>690573972
They were friendly for the most part, but when you think of the American attitude, "everything is bigger and better in America", Texas takes it to an extreme. Nothing wrong with it, I think it's good to be proud of where you are from. Just wasn't used to their version.
>>690574380
I'm sorry anon, I love the cars but I'm a broke ass uni student. What year model is it?
>>690573824
I've lived in Texas for 10 years.
San Antonio IS one of the big cities.
I live in the vast wastes of west Texas where it is litterally hell; 100+ heat everyday for weeks in a row, hardly any intact infrastructure, no rain, no drinkable water outside a bottle...
someone asked me what I do when I go online
I told her I had friends from all over the world and catch up with them
she said it must be very nice having so many friends you care about
I said "no, not really. I hate most of them."
>>690574491
I imagine it wouldn't be that hard to adjust to it if you were to live there
>>690574401
Wasn't me. I'm on steam, but I haven't talked to anyone about that there.
>>690574523
Sorry, one of the other big cities such as Houston Austin, Dallas, and so on.
>>690574585
Probably, but I'm from the northeast, it was a bit of a social adjustment for me. I also didn't spend too much time there. Only 4 months.
>>690574017
I also like not weighting 300 pounds and getting shot by muslims
but hey, to each their own
>>690574502
I believe it's from '08. But I'd have to call up my manager book guy thing (forgot the English word) if you want to know for sure. And I believe he's sleeping right now. Just came back from US selling a McLaren F1.

>>690575181
Ohw, yeah. It's mine alright. But it's in the garage, and the weather is terrible.
So if you're around later this week (when the weather clears), maybe I'll have a picture or 2 more. Never really take pictures. Probably going to forgot, so don't blame me.
>>690575066
Mississippi, then Arizona (which I loved) and then North Carolina (which I also liked).
>>690575445
no no, I meant the McLaren F1, road cars don't get any better than that. Though if you have pictures of your Maserati I'd be happy to see those too
>>690575503
do you have a favourite place?
>>690575622
The Carolinas, southern California, and for some reason Florida (always had fun there)
>>690575622
Oooh a Fisker, I see a trend going here.
No, I wasn't with him. Had a meeting with 3 sponsors (One in France of all places. All three of them denied because they found me too young to reliably invest.
I mean I can understand (I'm 19), but come on. Always playing it safe is no fun either.

anything significant reason as to why Carolina?

I am incredibly jealous of you, you're 19 and out being awesome and I'm 19 and busy being a uni student and trying not to die from exams
>>690576228
Spent most of my time stateside there. Have a lot of friends there and I got to play softball for the military there. I have some ridiculous typical American stories from there as well.

>>690576510
I was hoping you'd say that.
Every Friday we'd get drunk as fuck, play poker, darts, giant jenga, and corn hole or something. We'd stay up until 4 or 5 in the morning and then crash on the floor of wherever we were. However, one night things were different.
Guys help, should I just fap or prepare myself and use sextoys? I can't decide
>>690576773
now you have to tell me about the one night that was different
>>690576773
It was 1 am and everyone except for myself and the host had crashed already. We were drunk and bored.
>>690576228
I have no diplomas, though. You think that's cool but it sucks ass. This business isn't gonna last, I can tell you that much. So I'll be going "back to school" coming August/September (basically doing school on the side) and try and get a degree in something.
Probably gonna be computer science or at least programming of the sorts.
Btw, don't be jealous. I'm still paying it off and it's a bitch. I'm often outta money at 3/4th through the month. So I can't really do much other than sit at home and 4chan. So not having sponsors take "risks" hits home. Haha!
>>690576874
Patience. We noticed that there was mistletoe hanging from his tree, so we decided there was only one option... shoot it down.
>>690576997
I suppose that makes sense, at least with geologist money I'll be able to afford my dream car upfront when I buy it
how did you end up in what you do? and it's nice to meet someone here who at least has an interest in cars
>>690577056
I'm listening
>>690576874
We figured this would wake the other guests and we'd have some fun in the meantime. So my buddy grabbed his arsenal and we started to fire 100's of rounds at this unassuming tree with mistletoe hanging down from it. All without realizing that we were in a residential neighborhood with houses on both sides and in the direction we were shooting. (no injuries or property damage occured)
>>690576874
Now, the other house guests weren't waking up, or they most likely were trying to ignore us. So it was time to bring out the big guns. (disclaimer: alcohol and guns should never be used in twain)
>>690577565
this is getting interesting
>>690576874
So now we are firing semi-automatic rifles with high caliber rounds at a tree. (I'm not proud, just happy I didn't get in trouble). Tree limbs are falling off part of the tree is on fire, and my buddy didn't put one of his rifles in the pocket of his shoulder so the scope hit his eye giving him a nice circular bruise around it.
>>690577760
We then decide to look at our phones and realize that it is now around 3:30am. We had been shooting rifles and guns in a residential neighborhood for around 2 and a half hours and the police hadn't shown up yet. We decided we should stop. (almost done)
>>690577250
I fucked off from home (parents divorced mom took in a friend which crossed one too many lines of mine, ended up beating her to a pulp, got out of there), got involved with some faggots that "started" this company (basically explained me what I had to do and so on) bought an apartment that was installed as an office or however you call it. It had just us 5 working there.
Eventually they got more involved in life, found other interests and I now have a office space for myself with the parking spots. 3 of which I've rented out.
Simply set-up my bed here, use the pre-installed kitchen which I then upgraded to actually something live-able. Had my dad and a mate of his work on the warm/cold water so I installed a pretty decent bathroom. The whole apartment is mine now, it was just pre-installed as an office with no showers, etc. So I now have a complete apartment to myself.
To buy the car and bring some change in my life, so to say. I took out a loan with my company (as I had reregisterd it under my name, changed all the details about the others and simply left honorable mentions in the "credits") as down payment, went to the dealer ship with my book guy (He's a real chillbro. About 30 years old, always has a joint in his mouth but you never smell or see it in the meetings. It's a real wonder how he does it, really.), and then worked out how to pay for the car. And now we're here.
>>690577879
i wish i was that human sucking on anthro dick...
>>690577760
We gathered up all the fire arms and ammo and go back inside, when we notice a large amount of flashing blue lights out front. "Hide the guns under the bed" my friend says, and I do so immediately. Mind you the windows were open so the cops could hear everything.
>>690578421
Holy shit, that became a story and a half.
>>690578421
that is an interesting story mate (not sarcastic)
>>690578464
is that the end?
>>690577760
After I had hidden the weapons and my buddy had walked onto the front porch while the other guests were telling us how stupid we are, I crouched by one of the windows to get a good look at what was going down.
Mornin sunshines
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=honzPhGqcE4
>>690578723
still going?
>>690578651
nope!
The police are kindly asking my friend to come down from the porch and talk. He proceeds to fall off the porch and half crawl, half stumble over to them. I hear the whole conversation through the screened window:
officer: we've been hearing a lot of reports of gun fire in the area, do you know anything about this?"
buddy: I think I heard it too officer, I hope you catch the guy."
officer: "How'd you get that shiner there?"
buddy: "I fell."
officer (not amused): "Really..."
buddy: " Didn't you see me fall off the porch?"
officer (and others): Laughter of the most jovial variety.
officer: "Alright, you go inside and have a good night. Let us know if you hear anything else."
buddy: "Yes sir, I'll make sure to keep an eye out."

The main thing you need to get from this story is that guns are so much a part of our culture that we got away with firing that many rounds off, possibly endangering others (thank goodness we didn't) and got away with it because of apathy. It was fun though. Never did it again.
