2.1 Select NO/Off to all options when setting up win10, if you read them all you will understand why. Every option is basically asking to send data back to MS.
3. run a program called "disablewintracking" (can be found on github i think) to disable telemetry and other useless shit.
4. download windows tweaker and turn off notifications and whatever the hell else you want.
5. find a script to kill one drive and remove it from explorer.

Otherwise it's a good OS. It needs work, but which OS doesn't?

That thing WAS shit, but it wasn't something I couldn't work with. Not to say I didn't wanna throw it out a window when I DID work with it.
However, it was things like those dumbass gestures (pulling the menus from the corner), the slow ass search for settings and shit, the fact that a lot of the things were under new DIFFERENT submenus from EVERY previous version of Windows.

Oh, I got past it, alright, but it was a fucking pain in the ass. And when /I/ needed to briefly use it for my own machine, it had ZERO hardware integration, and WHEN it failed to integrate, it took me like an hour to fucking install all the drivers just so I could use the damn thing. Then, it was just generally slow until I ran the upgrade

No, it was slow. The settings indexing as ass. It took forever to find all the crap I needed, and sometimes the search system just outright didn't work properly at all (for example some of the renamed crap. I'm not sure I have an example off the top of my head, but I think it happened when I was trying to load up some of the .msc shits or whatever. Or loading things like some of the programs directly without referring to their alias. I forget if I had trouble with like cmd.exe or maybe it was accessing the run box or something typing run into the search? Or something of that nature)
