I've been running somewhat of a shelter for a couple of years now called Superfluffous Farms. It's a small little business venture I decided to do when I first started hearing about fluffy ponies a few years back and figured I could make some quick cash off of it. The business has been quite lucrative and actually forced me to expand and make a new building. Right now there is the Day Care, the Shelter and the Farm ran by myself with the help of 25 other employees all on the same 5 acre property I was left by my grandmother when she passed. My idea from the start was to have a place where I could bring in feral furries, clean them up and train them to be sold to buyers looking for a cheap little pet but not wanting to break the bank. The way I did this changed about 6 months in when I realized fluffies are much harder to manage than I thought. I grew to hate the fuckers really, really fast but somehow I was very good at breeding them for the best qualities, coats and traits that the customers will pay high dollar for. Here is the run down of how the facility works.

The Play Pin - This is where the best fluffies and their families go to frolic and play. They are bred on sight and monitored for good behavior to make sure the customer is completely satisfied with the behavior, coat, sheen and compatibility with other fluffies. Whatever the customer wants out of a fluffy, we can do for a price. Even though this is the end of the line for the fluffies they are still on thin ice because if one thing goes wrong between them and another fluffy that jeopardizes the whole deal, they get sent back to the Farm. Fluffies sold from The Play Pin are extremely costly and where my reputation is based at so anything that goes wrong here is severely punished. I am a businessman after all.

The Day Care - This is where people can come for a cheaper fluffy option. They are still very good fluffies and are still more expensive than the average but they are a mix of lower quality bred fluffies that I wouldn't put into the day care as well as strays I have been able to whip into shape. It's a larger than The Play Pin and more relaxed but there are still rules in place to make sure my reputation as a breeder and trainer remains highly regarded. Fluffies are not as free roaming here but rather anywhere from small, individual cages and up to multiple fluffies in a pin.

The Farm - This is the biggest building of the facility. This is where the fluffies are bred, raised, disciplined and disposed of need be. There are multiple locations and functions to keep the famr running at it's best. There is:
-The Yard is where fluffies are allowed to gather and socialize. The ones with the better coats and attributes or were special order are kept separate from the others to ensure the quality of the product as well as to keep them from muddling their broods with inferior fluffies. Strays are kept in the lowest tier with the ugly babies to see how they will socialize before moving forward or back int he process.
-The Shelter is where fluffies go that could still be sold but at severely reduced prices are kept. This include strays and the least desirable fluffies and ones that are born with abnormalities. Customers who buy fluffies from The Shelter typically just want feeder fluffies, something to abuse, feel bad for them, etc. No fluffy ever wants to go to the Stockyard but if they cannot adapt and behave, this is where they go. They can be bought from here but if they aren't bought in 30 days, they are euthanized.

-The Breeding Yard/Warehouse is where fluffy families are made. This is where all of this process really begins as well as where I store my food and supplies. Mares are kept in cages to be fed and breed with a mate. Once pregnant, the male is removed to be taken to another pin for more breeding. Only the best males are used for the breeding process and the females usually cry for not having their special friends with them. Mares who refuse to breed (and this does happen from time to time) and forced to be inseminated and give birth. Once born, the mother raises and feeds the babies until they were old enough to be taken to The Yard for monitoring. The shitty foals I see no use in are sent directly to die or killed on the spot. Mothers who can no longer breed are disposed of as well as ones who cannot make milk. This is a business and I do not have time for compassion here.
-The Sorry Yard is where fluffies go who have done something bad enough to be punished. It's more of an old barn with different tools, cages and methods of punishment are employed for each type of misbehavior. This is my personal favorite are on the whole farm. There are no rules on fluffy abuse because they aren't really animals so this place is totally legal. No fluffy ever wants to come to The Sorry Yard but this place has the most amount of traffic because of either shitty foals who just don't make it, stupid fluffies making stupid choices that could jeopordize my whole business or fluffies from The Shelter who aren't bought in 30 days. Out back is the Boneyard where we throw the corpses.

After receiving so many questions about my business and the daily happenings, I've decided to share my stories from operating a fluffy breeding farm to let others know just what kind of work goes into raising high quality furries. I will call these stories "Tales From The Sorry Yard" as that is where the most interesting events take place.
