No, that's not true, last couple of episodes were a bit slow but we had Danny burning down the Khals, Snow's return and execution of the traitors, Ramsay going psycho on his family, a not so lame origin story for White Walkers and some cool scenes (Jamie with Edmure, the Mountain's kills) story is progressing with the battle of Mereen, Arya leaving the faceless men (it was cool how she got the Waif but her recovering sofast kinda ruined it) Euron's arrival and Yara stealing the fleet, the return of the Hound, the Freys, Sam and Glly, the High Sparrow cornering Cersei, Benjen/Cold Hands and the set up for the tower of joy... It's going to be a very intense next two episodes if they're going to deal with half the stuff they've set up... So yeah, we got a couple of episodes which were mostly filler (and then we'll get some pretty rushed resolutions apparently) but it isn't as bad as all that...

I think it's only in the books. Cersei always suspected Tyrion to be the one that kills her, that's why they are so suspicious of each other.
On the other hand Jaime was born just a few seconds after her, holding her foot with one hand.
If you follow the storyline of Jaime you can see the disapproval he has towards her and if there's one thing he is notorious for then it's killing people he shouldn't to save the realm
