Pricing heavily depends on the area but if youre renting do NOT rent a shitty old place. Landlords are jews and will resist fixing anything. Most supermarkets are cheap but corner shops are mostly in paki areas. I have 3 just down the road from me. Paki areas do tend to be somewhat quieter.

Surrey and the south west is nice but be prepared to spend a minimum of $2000/month on rent.
It's kind of a good thing though, there's less than 1000 niggers in Surrey so crime is basically non-existant

I left when I was 18, got massive scholarships to study abroad. I have since lived on three continents and a number of countries and the UK was the one I felt most comfortable with.

Getting a good apartment will be hard. It took me a month to get a decent 2 bed flat, and the deposit was large. Property prices are unreasonably high and the quality in general is shit. Shared housing is common, especially among immigrants. If possible, don't do it. Most immigrants are annoying fuckheads you want nothing to do with. You better have a good job lined up. On top of the rent, you'll pay council tax, electricity, waste water, tap water and gas if needed. Internet and phone as well, although they're a little bit second world on those sometimes. Make sure you do a bit of research before buying one.

Food prices are ok compared to salary level. Brits in general are fat fucks, so they keep on eating the prepackaged shite from the shelves. Astonishingly, Tesco has a great fresh foods section, fishmonger and fresh meat selection are good and well priced.

The men are usually either skinnyfat to superfat manbooby dudes or twinks with tight clothing, tattoos and a huge attitude. There's a few fit people, they're usually the coolest. Stay away from the chavs/lower class fuckheads. They're usually uneducated, live off welfare tickets and have no future. This is reflected in their behavior. UK has a lot of cool dudes but even more inbred retards, and it's smart to avoid the mud of the gene pool.

I'm Canadian and I've lived in the UK for 15 years. Here's what you can expect:

Arrogance, ignorance, rudeness, aggression for no real reason, incredible levels of smug superiority with no reason, alcoholism and random cruelly.

I lived 6 months in the UK and it pretty amazed me more than other countries I've visited in my short life
(compared to the shithole I had to return - I mean, it has it's pluses, but they don't outweighs the few upsides it has at all)

most of the people I know from the village I was born in either made some money with some local firm and stopped work after their 35-40s since they don't have to anymore or gtfo'd to UK(mostly), and they work at mcdonalds/depos/similar shit and make slightly more than I do at home..
my whole day i communicate in english (pretty advanced level), if I were to start explaining your average compsci bachelor my daily work - he wouldn't understand most of it

yeah, I'd love to get to UK, for example, be a productive citizen there
